The NAJ Entrepreneurship Masterclass
11 May 2017
If you’re new to the industry or starting your own jewellery business, The National Association of Jewellers is hosting a new dynamic one-day Entrepreneurship Masterclass, facilitated by Gordon Hamme, Managing Director of British Silver Week. Gordon Hamme has seen and worked in every type of company in the trade including manufacturing, wholesale, retail and the press.
The day will focus on how to map out your new venture, from the basics of starting a business to brand creation. The Masterclass will also provide you with the opportunity to find out how to write a business plan. Gordon will also generously give his time to review and critique business plans and ideas.
The topics covered will be:
- Setting Up: company finance, investors, crowdfunding, HRMC and VAT
- Communication & Marketing: websites, social media and dealing with the press
- Routes to Market: galleries, agents, craft fairs, national and international fairs
- Advisory Sources: mentors, case studies and trade associations
Take advantage of the opportunity to talk in detail about your business ideas to a jewellery and silversmithing entrepreneur who has built and guided small, medium and large companies to success. More information can be found here.
As this is a masterclass, places are strictly limited with just 6 places for the first session on 16th May with a discounted special ‘support the trade rate’ of £65 for those in their first two years in the industry.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy of your C.V. to be considered for this special rate.
